    Laughable that anyone would buy Qantas points (unless you needed to make up a tiny shortfall). Right now you can buy Hawaiian miles for 2c and transfer them to Alaskan to use for one world flights. 40k miles for prem economy to Asia. Or 60k in biz. Alternatively 2c to buy lifemiles and they charg...

    The whole ANA experience is much poorer than it used to be. Other than the odd plane that’s been refurbished (you might be lucky to London) the seats are sub par these days imo. Lounges are generally packed in Tokyo etc.

    Fantastic article. When I’m looking at a new carrier to choose seats on I always look for one of these articles. The bulkhead rows are game changers for me on Qantas. The extra legroom makes up for being close to the galley.Are there restrictions on what seats a non member can book?

    I actually love the apartments. Lots of space, novelty shower etc. At least with the bed your legs aren’t  jammed into a tiny footwell.

    Good luckWamula. I think AA is a pretty decent program and has access to all of the seats that Qantas and BA have at a saver level. Perhaps one thing relevant with remaining with the airline you fly the most is advanced seat selection. This type of benefit often doesnt come with one world status ...

    And why ba?! Flights way more expensive using points than aa with bigger surcharges. Why do Australians think that where you are based matters for your airline loyalty?

    Lol why anybody would bother with Qantas status is beyond me. Just sign up for American Airlines!!! Would love to know one reason why you’d put points and status into wantas instead of American. 40k aa miles for biz from Australia to Asia and 80k to USA. With minimal fees
